Price Chopper German Bologna (recalled March 9, 2011)
|Price Chopper German Bologna||3/8/11|
Reason for Recall:
The manufacturer of Price Chopper's German Bologna sold through our Deli department has voluntarily recalled this product due to the possibility of Staphylococcus contamination. The product was sold in Price Chopper between January 13 and March 8, 2011. During a routine USDA inspection, it was determined that there was the potential for the production of Staphylococcus aureus in the product, as a result of a time delay prompting premature cooling in the manufacturing process. There have been no illnesses reported with the consumption of this product. Individuals with health concerns should contact their physician.
What to do:
Return the product to Price Chopper for a full refund.
