I'm Chopper, and I'm here to tell you about the great foods we have at Price Chopper, to play a few games, to color some cool pictures, to make some great recipes and best of all, to spend time with some of my friends. Have Fun Cooking with Jodie
 Hey kids! I'm glad you joined the Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club and I hope you are having fun cooking and creating in your kitchen. This month, more kids from the Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club joined me to whip up a few new recipes to share with you and your family. Sophia joined me to create a Quick and Easy Valentine's snack, Philip and I had Fun with Fruits and Veggies making sunshine in the middle of winter and thinking spring with butterflies and flower pots, and with Valentine's falling on the weekend this year, Kate and I got together to make a super fun breakfast to celebrate called Volcanic Pancakes!
All of the recipes got a 'Thumbs Up' for fun and for taste! I think cooking is important for many reasons. One of those reasons is when you cook you experiment, and when you experiment you try new things, and when you try new things you find flavors you didn't know you might have liked!
I tell my own kids even when you don't like something now it doesn't mean you won't like it later. In fact, did you know that our taste buds actually change? So, in my house we do what we call "re-tastes" just in case our palate suddenly decides it likes something it didn't beforeÉso, get in the kitchen, mix it up and try new things with us at the Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club! The more you try, the more 'thumbs up' recipes and foods you will find!

Jodie will be cooking up "kid-tested" recipes that kids love. Stop by and join in the fun!
Note to Parents:
Every time you cook with your kids in the kitchen it's a moment to share a life skill. This month when you make the Mini Flower Pots and they go to mix the ingredients together, teach them to fold the yogurts and cream together, which means to stir gently and not fast. Mixing these ingredients quickly would actually break down the cream and change the substance of the mixture. If the kids stir slowly and more gently, the cream will stay lighter and fluffier!
