In our 24/7, activity-filled, wired world, sitting down to a meal together has become a rarity for all too many families. However, the benefits for families sitting down together at mealtime can be substantial. With this in mind, Price Chopper and Cornell Cooperative Extension are proud to announce the Family Mealtimes Matter Challenge, a four-week initiative dedicated to creating quality family time based on healthy, budget-conscious meals. From 4-7pm on Friday, Oct. 23, and from 11am-2pm on Saturday, Oct. 24, select Capital District Price Chopper stores will feature CCE and Price Chopper dietitians on hand to assist customers in creating easy, nutritious recipes that will bring the whole family around the table.
