GET YOUR TICKETS AT ANY PRICE CHOPPER TO THE FARMER'S MUSEUM "NEW YORK'S GOOD EATS! OUR FABULOUS FOODS" EXHIBITION!

Farmer's Museum New York's Good Eats! Exhibition
The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown, New York, provides visitors with a unique opportunity to experience 19th-century rural and village life first-hand through authentic demonstrations and interpretative exhibits. The museum comprises a stone barn that serves as the show place for exhibitions, a late-19th-century Country Fair featuring The Empire State Carousel, a recreated historic village circa 1840s and a working farmstead. The museum preserves examples of Central New York architecture, agricultural tools and equipment, and heritage livestock. This institution provides a broad range of interactive educational programs for school groups, families, and adults.
About the New York's Good Eats! Our Fabulous Foods Exhibition:
New York State is home to some unique and world-famous foods. Potato Chips were invented by a Saratoga Springs cook in 1856. Oysters were on everyone’s table in the 19th century, and most of them came from Long Island. Would you eat pickled oysters? Ever wonder how ketchup got its start? Both Jello and Shredded Wheat became famous in the Empire State. Did you know celery was once a delicacy and first commercially farmed in New York? Learn more about these fabulous foods and many more throughout The Farmers’ Museum’s Main Barn exhibition for 2011-2012 and you’ll leave hungry!
