Environmental Success Stories
Environmental commitment is not new at Price Chopper - we've participated in the Energy Star program for years and recently received a score of 97 for 109 locations submitted, which far exceeds the baseline of 75 to receive certification. We've also recently joined the EPA's Green Chill program, which seeks to encourage innovation and transparency when it comes to refrigeration practices. Price Chopper is testing some groundbreaking technologies that will result in refrigeration that is just as effective as conventional methods, but isn't harmful to the environment.
