Internships are offered in many disciplines including, but not limited to Human Resources, Promotions, Advertising, Information Technology and Real Estate. Price Chopper looks at each intern as a potential leader and uses mentoring, education and training to create an environment of opportunity. Interns experience the Price Chopper experience for two months out of the year and many come back to stay.

"Coming to this country without knowing English or much about American culture was very difficult. My first job at the age of fifteen was with Price Chopper and it totally changed my life. Associates treated me like family and I found management to be very helpful and supportive. I started as a cart-collector and worked my way up to full-time Front End Supervisor. While I was in college I was hired as an engineering intern, which showed me all that the company had to offer. I even turned down a job with General Electric to work here and I do not regret it. I come to work each morning with a smile on my face, happy to be part of the Price Chopper family."
