All you need is a standard propane cylinder ... and if you don't have a tank, don't worry: you can simply buy a full tank without an exchange.
Here's how it works:
DROP: Take your old tank to one the Price Chopper locations listed below. Drop it off by the exchange display, outside near the store entrance.
SWAP: Tell a cashier that you would like to exchange your propane tank.
GO: A store representative will escort you back to the Blue Rhino display and unlock it. Pick the tank you want ... after all, it's your tank! Then place it upright in a well-ventilated spot in your vehicle, go to your destination and enjoy!
